Dear Senator
Writings:
Dear Senator
This is going to every senator and congressman, if you are concerned, send to your pastor for dissemination.

Dear Senator,
If you are a non-believer or a serious atheist, this letter will not make sense to you. So, please throw it in your trash can. If not, please read on. I am writing this letter to you because you have been blessed with a position of great influence and power.

I think we can agree that America has been blessed more than any other nation that has ever existed on this planet. I have always tried to be an optimist and a positive thinker. However, the subject matter in this letter is extremely negative and grim.

We all know the ancient story of the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah. They were burnt off the face of the earth. Archaeologists have claimed to have found remnants of sand fused into glass in the desert sand. Our national sin is millions of times greater than theirs. The number of deaths resulting from the first and second world wars is said to be about 60 million. We, as a God-fearing nation, have permitted over 65 million of God's most innocent infants to be killed, and many of your colleagues want to continue this in perpetuity and to guarantee this by passing national laws to that effect.

Yes, our God is a God of mercy, but the size of our collective guilt is enormous. Is there a limit to God's mercy? If we stretch the boundaries of our logic and imaginations, can we conclude that God will continue to listen to our national hymn, “God bless America, land that we love ”? And if so, why?

I am an old man now. I have lived a long and good life. Now, I want this for my many grandchildren and for all the other children of the world. Since you are a duly elected lawmaker, I ask you, no, I beg you, to give this matter serious thought and proceed in your law-making work accordingly. Let's see if we can avoid seeing our beach and desert sand fused into glass. The amount of heat and energy in God's atoms, when released, is enormous. Many men have discovered how to release it.

Food for thought: Is it possible that we are seeing just the start of what happens to America without God's blessings??

Sincerely,

Ben V. Rodriguez
