In (Mt 26-52:53) Jesus said
“---- put your sword back in its sheath, for all who take the sword shall perish by the sword. Do you think that I cannot call upon my father and he will not provide me with twelve legions of angels?”


Imagine the power of one angel from heaven
Imagine the power of twelve legions unleashed

That's what our Lord had for the calling
Yet to the cross, he walked all alone

The Romans prepared the Lamb for the slaughter
They beat Him and stripped Him
The beard was plucked from His face
No limits were placed on human disgrace

The skin on His back was ripped by the whips
Yet, not one curse was heard from His lips

To the cross, He walked all alone
While twelve legions of Angels stood by in reserve

On the cross. He hung there in silence
While twelve legions of angels awaited the call
From the Messiah, the King, the Master of all

Jesus, the man, He hung there alone
He paid the great price
For you and for me, our sins to atone.
