God in His infinite wisdom
Taught me a lesson on despair
He took my Arm
He took my Leg
My limbs, He took a good strong pair
His was a mighty lesson on despair
He took my speech
He took my face
In His wisdom, He made a good strong case
His lesson bent my once strong back
and then a miracle, he gave all back
What was the lesson to be learned?
Was I left here just to ponder?
Or just to merely wonder?
I think not
The lesson is that everything's a gift
We need His life, His breath, His mighty lift
The lesson to be learned is seeing
That in Him we live and move and have our being
(written In Hospital after my stroke)
Taught me a lesson on despair
