Storms
Writings:
Storms
After the storm, your sun still shines through.

Creation sings, your creatures rejoice
At the very sound of your voice
After each storm comes a clear bright new day
The world's washed clean.

Sins are forgiven with your water and blood
Gone now dark clouds, the unclean, the dirt and the mud

You have given us a fresh new day

After the storm in the winter
You have given us a morning with the brightness of May
Today we have time to work, to sing and to play.

For this and all blessing
We give thanks when we pray.

So Lord help us never forget
After each of life's many storms,
Come a glorious new morn
And a clean bright new day.

Throughout life, His storms come and go,
They're sent to correct and chastise us
They force us to grow.
